When Crisis Strikes, Learning Must Continue
Conflict, disaster, and displacement often rob children of the chance to learn. At MECOHEDI, we use media to restore that hope. Our education in emergencies work ensures that learning can continue, even without classrooms.
We collaborate with educators and humanitarian partners to create content that supports literacy, numeracy, life skills, and psychosocial well-being. Through radio learning, mobile tools, and storytelling, we make sure children are not left behind.
Our Work Includes:
Radio and audio-based learning content
Back-to-school awareness campaigns
Communication around education rights and services
Support for teachers and caregivers in emergency contexts
Content to build resilience and emotional healing in children
Because even in crisis, every child deserves the right to learn and dream.
Our Strategic Approach
We produce and distribute emergency learning content that is:
Age-appropriate and curriculum-aligned
Delivered via radio, mobile, and printed tools
Psychosocially supportive for trauma-affected children
Designed for inclusivity (girls, displaced, and children with disabilities)
We work closely with educators, humanitarian actors, and families to ensure children stay engaged and hopeful.
